Runway Productions by Catwalk Guru

I’ve always wanted to go for modeling classes but was too tied up with 101 activities back then in high school. I finally enrolled for modeling classes at Runway Productions after Christmas last year. They offer three courses for adult females – Commercial Model, Foundation, and Masterclass. Since I’ll only be starting college in July, I decided to register for all three courses. The entire course took about three to four months. I’ll be sharing my experience here! 😀

Commercial Model Course

This course basically teaches you how to present yourself in front of the camera. For our first few classes, we learned how to pose with different props and different facial expressions.

2. Foundation Course

For this course, we learned the basics of a model. Our posture plays a vital role. Our warm-ups were super tiring, and most of our legs were aching, and some of us even lost our balance in our towering heels! However, all these would help us with our catwalk on the runway. Besides that, we also learned how to apply our own makeup and do our own hair (I did my own hair & makeup in this picture below). 🙂

3. Masterclass Course

This course is by far my favourite among the three. I never knew that there were several types of catwalks. There’s the basic catwalk, pageant walk, dramatic walk, and we even learnt how to walk in different gowns and dresses.
